Hi everyone! Welcome to my website!

I’m Daniel, a professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili in the Department of Computer Engineering and part of the CloudLab research group.

About me

I’m passionate about computers and technology in general, and I love learning and discussing about anything (I’m a philosopher by nature). My research interests span all aspects of distributed systems, focusing around software architectures, middleware, large-scale applications and cloud computing services, including data analytics and machine learning.

Outside research, I enjoy video-games, sci-fi and fantasy stories, and psychology and neuroscience.
