CLOUDLESS develops an edge-computing platform for creating and deploying open data spaces based on a decentralized, distributed architecture. It provides event-based discovery and interconnection services through data brokers for both data consumers and data providers.
The architecture also provides secure cloud and edge infrastructure for efficient data analysis, taking factors such as data locality, cost, privacy, and latency into account. It is validated in open data spaces spanning citizen science, tourism, genomics, and metabolomics.
