EXTRACT develops an open-source, data-driven software platform for building trustworthy, accurate, fair, and energy-efficient data-mining workflows. It addresses workloads whose volume, velocity, distribution, or other characteristics exceed the assumptions of conventional data-mining systems.
The platform improves the full lifecycle of extreme-data workflows, from development and deployment to efficient execution. It brings edge, cloud, and HPC resources into a unified and secure compute continuum, combining enhanced data infrastructure and AI frameworks with data-driven orchestration, distributed monitoring, continuum abstractions, cybersecurity, and digital privacy.
